I, WyomingMyst, am a Forum MVP. This means I spend a great deal of time helping players with Overwatch (which is why my text is green in color). This thread is not related to my role as a Forum MVP and I do not represent Blizzard Entertainment.
Thank you for your cooperation and enjoy the match!
I just want to say that I have a newfound respect for those who are battling COVID. Yesterday morning, I received the J&J vaccine at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Now, I’m battling the worst fever I’ve had in quite awhile (which I hope is just a side effect and not something more dangerous).
On to the match at hand. With the NYXL having gone through it’s trial by fire, I think the NYXL will take this one 3-2 over the Spark.
And the NYXL claim their first victory of the season!
FINAL
Busan (Control): New York Excelsior 2, Hangzhou Spark 1.
Havana (Escort): New York Excelsior 3, Hangzhou Spark 2.
Volskaya Industries (Assault): Hangzhou Spark 2, New York Excelsior 0.
King’s Row (Hybrid): New York Excelsior 3, Hangzhou Spark 1.
FINAL SCORE: New York Excelsior 3, Hangzhou Spark 1
NEW YORK EXCELSIOR WINS!
The NYXL go 1-1 on the week and at least have a chance to make the May Melee. Meanwhile, the Hangzhou Spark go back to the drawing board after an 0-2 week and are now in serious danger of missing the May Melee.
Next up, we have a Battle of the Undefeated as the Chengdu Hunters face the Philadelphia Fusion, with the winner locking up the 1 seed in the May Melee.
