I’ve been doing a Hanzo challenge.
- No crosshair
- No perks
78% winrate and M2 atm. No crosshair isn’t that big a deal since I’m a very aggressive Hanzo, but not having Dragon Fury sucks.
The last one was a no Storm Arrows/Sonic challenge.

Where does it say you have to use every single ability in the game and aren’t allowed to add self imposed rules? As long as you aren’t breaking the rules, which in this case they aren’t, it’s not reportable.
It’s the same as playing without joining coms. Is it a useful tool and feature? Yea. Will it help in game? Yes probably. Do you need to use it? Absolutely not.
Besides. If I’m tracer and I’m doing what I’m supposed to, and doing it well enough, I shouldn’t need a feature that lets me retreat from a bad spot. If you’re winning the match and have ult, saving it until you need it, and dont end up needing it, are you throwing?
Yea you’re making it harder on yourself but thats not against the rules

A better chalkenge would be trying to master a new character instead of being uncompetitive

Intentionally not playing to the best of your ability is literally the definition of gameplay sabotage.
No it’s not. Coms are not a direct part of playing the game itself.
If they are losing matches they would have won otherwise (which will definitely happen), it literally is.

No it’s not. Show me where the devs have ever said you need to try your absolute hardest and sweat every second of every game.
The choice and option to use coms, is as much of a direct part of the game as choosing to use certain hero’s or hero abilities.
Just because someone is not using them the way that YOU want them to be used, or because you think it isn’t the absolute best strategy, does not make it throwing, sabotage, or anything else besides an extra challenge.
If you want to report then go for it. Thats your choice. You’d be wrong but it’s still your choice to put in a report over nothing.

OP should absolutely be banned for gameplay sabotage as well as then banned from the forums for promoting said gameplay sabotage.
