Hammond is a throw pick

He is without a doubt one of the worst characters in the game right, straight out the gate and he is already a throw pick. People actually throw games if you pick Hammond, good job making the only fun Tank in the entire game a throw pick.

hammond is a really fun character, high risk high reward and not that easy to do well with, and really easy to mess up and die. he is not the worst character in the game tho.

Luckilly, the opposing team will also have one too.

To OP:
There is no such thing as a throw pick

Characters do not throw

Players throw

and they can do so equally well with any character in the game

No character is a troll pick overall. It’s the player instead.

I think Hammond just has a high learning curve.

Don’t care. I like him, so I’m playing him ^.^

He’s more of a 4 star difficulty hero that has some hard counters and honestly needs a few buffs.

I have been a victim of off-meta scapegoating and whatnot and try to avoid doing it myself, I have never complained about a Torbjorn or Symmetra that was trying (not emoting in the middle of the battlefield or jumping off the map)… But Hammond is definitely a throw pick. If you want to play him, that is cool. However, nothing good ever comes of it. I am actually amazed at how much more difficult it becomes to win the match if you have a Hammond and they do not. I cannot believe I actually thought he was going to be powerful. Unfortunate, because he is relatively fun to play.

Your head is throw pick

I’ll repeat

Players throw

Okay, that is great that you have that opinion and whatnot, I disagree, however. If you cannot play a character at a proficient level, you are throwing as far as I am concerned. You can call it a soft throw or whatever. I do not report people for doing this whatsoever, but at the same time, you have to recognize reality. It is not just the Hammond that is a problem, it is his team. If you do not play around him, he gets virtually zero value.

I am not saying that people are maliciously throwing matches. I am saying that Hammond is so weak that they might as well be.

People don’t know how to play him yet because he’s been out for two weeks and just got added to comp. Of course few people play him competently yet; that doesn’t make him an underpowered troll pick.

This is what happens when ppl ask for high skill hero.
Everyone ends up not knowing how to play him.

As of current. It is all subject to change once people learn him. I am just more or less alluding to my experiences with the character which have, for the most part, only been with incompetent Hammond, myself included, and a few good ones where our team was unable to capitalize on their plays. Mostly due to a lack of communication, surely he will be more threatening once people coordinate.

You can disagree all you want

You can say the sun is cold

You can say water is dry

You can say up is down

whatever. all simply wrong.

Throwing involves an intent to lose

Merely selecting a character (any character) is NOT throwing

Well, thank you, to that end, I will stick with my opinion. I do not believe intent is necessary. I accidentally threw some matches when I was not playing properly. It happens. Sometimes you are just “off” and there is not much you can do besides take a few deep breaths and try to correct the mistakes.

well, you’re simply wrong, then

thats called playing poorly

its not throwing

I do it myself nearly every game I play
