but yup having a one trick on your team does not impact your ability to win a game what so ever
Wow.
That’s longer than an AKM Blade.
dam have a replay code by chance, sounds exciting
I don’t play Widowmaker, is that supposed to be fast?
Just play Hanzo, you get that every 20 seconds.
Also, how impactful is Infrsight? Like, just kill her.
Yes, I’m a Silver, how could you tell?
This sounds like a very low rank game…
At any rank if you aren’t getting your ult at the most every 1:25… you’re missing many shots and not contributing really anything.
I dont understand the title tbh .
Did the Widow get infra after 4.5 minutes or did the widow infra for 4.5 minutes in a match with multiple ult uses? (Is there an infra uptime card?)
I think they’re trying to say it took the Widow player over four minutes to get their ult, which is rather slow.
And may be impossible, come to think of it. The passive charge rate should have a Widow ult ready before that, assuming the Widow did absolutely nothing to earn charge.
The Widow probably did take a while to earn the ult, and probably sat on it for a few minutes waiting for the “perfect” time to use it. Not uncommon.
It’s either the Widow misses everything, even bodyshots.
Or she holds it for some reasons. Infrasight is one of those ult you got to pop as frequent as possible, not something like a Grav or Shatter
Well, you don’t want to pop it the moment you get it. You want to make sure your team is looking to engage. If the team is still running back from spawn or setting up, you’re wasting that intel.
To put this into perspective I just did a quick test.
Widowmaker waiting 4.5minutes is equal to ~90% ult charge.
Doing approximately ~150dmg will give Widowmaker ~10% ult charge.
If I understand this correctly this widowmaker was not being a one trick. A one trick has absolutely nothing to do with this. So don’t even bring it up. This was a player just not even trying to play the game.
This depends on too many factors for it to be 100% truth or lie. It sways either way. This Widow could probably be a new Widow 1 Trick, or ur team didn’t support the Widow well enough for them to get anything done. (Usually, Widow’s a strong Carry pick if ur skill’s awesome, but even if ur a god-tier Widow, an example, the Shields have to go down for that Widow to kill anything, including 1 Tricks and GM-Tier Widowmaker Players.) Another thing it could’ve been was Widow played well, but the rest of u? Could’ve been sloppy and u didn’t realize it. There’s so many things it could’ve been, it’s hard to point out the specific thing of what Exactly went wrong.
So, I wouldn’t exactly say 1 Tricks do NOT impact ur ability to win or lose anymore than it would for every other player. U could grab the perfect 1 Trick for what u wanna do. U could grab the 1 Trick where the world’s against them. U can grab a player who Can’t Aim for the life of them. U can grab a dude who only knows how to Off Heal. There’s so many diff types of players in the game, and a good majority only can have so much flexibility, some being only 1 Tricks, some being a general area of sub-role knowledge, some who know specific skills and lack others… I’ve met 1 Tricks, more often than not, straight-up win for their team, or given such a strong fight and struggle that it was created to be a close one. But even from my experiences, a 1 Trick won’t guarantee the win.
What does guarantee the win? Who, in general teams, plays the best. How good is ur teamwork? What about ur aim? Ur positioning? R u properly balancing passive and aggro? R u doing ur job properly as the role ur playing? What can u play to the best of ur skills? Do others on ur team have their best pick as the character ur playing as? R u using ur abilities properly, or r u using ur abilities mindlessly? There’s so many questions and so many factors that come into play, u sometimes can’t exactly blame a specific person and point them out as the Only Issue. There is usually more in-play than just 1 player making mistakes. So saying that 1 Tricks doesn’t give u the ability to win, but also saying that they will Always give u the win: Both r Lies to the Truth.
