Ok I am prepared to look very stupid with this question, but has Mercy’s damage boost always made allies weapons glow blue while under it’s effect?
I noticed it for the first time just today while playing a match. Is this new or have I just not being paying attention.
Been playing Mercy for years and I have never noticed before today.

it was added in s12; probably to make it more obvious when someone is under damage boosting effects such as juno ult or mercy beam

Oh thank god. I thought I was going slightly crazy.
I do actually really like the effect though I have to say.
I just noticed that blue effect too, i was like “Am i tripping or my allies weapons turning blue for some reason?”.
Its new this patch and i perosnly yhing its a great change

Its great, because not only its obvious for the enemy, but its also much more visible for the teammate that Mercy is DBing them. Really like it as a Mercy player!
(Rein with a blue hammer looks crazy good lol!)
