Agreed. Whether it’s the right thing to do I don’t know, but it feels a bit sexist when I see a group named like that. It also makes me wonder if the group leader isn’t indeed a woman but some guy trying to get women into the group just to try and flirt with them or whatever. I’ve only seen one group so far which was named so that only males are welcome to join it, but most of the time I see such groups it’s usually “females only” or named something similar to that.

Where would it cross the line for you? Is it okay to look for a certain religious group and having a LFG title like “only christians” ?
They are probably 13 year old girls who just want to have fun with other girls. There’s nothing wrong with that imo. If I saw a “Boys only” LFG then cool, I hope they have fun and I’ll just move on to find another or make my own. It has nothing to do with excluding you, it’s what they want and how they want their group to play as.
Why does that even bother you? Who cares? Just move on and find another LFG that fits you. If that bothers you then um…yeah, I don’t know what to tell you.

I see “only boys” and “no girls” in titles too. Just saying…
Sometimes girls just want to play with other girls, same as how some guy may want to play with other guys. Playing with all girls as a female can be really relaxing as you don’t have to worry about the random “you sound hot” type comments. Plus it’s nice to get to know other females in a male dominated world.

Let people make whatever groups they want.
Thats their choice.
If they want a “Muslim Only” group, go for it. A “Asian only” group, go for it. You dont get to tell people who they can choose to associate with.
That beign said…people who do this are going to have a hard time actually sorting that out, and to be frank, are probably limiting their experience and ability. So its like kneecapping yourself really.
And as a side note: To anyone who is like “Well girls need their own personal space to play cause toxicity!” This isnt a solution to the toxicity problem. Its a surrender.

I personally wouldn’t care, though I might question the intent there because you cannot inheritly know anyone’s religion. It is typically much easier to figure out a dude / girl however via voice chat.
If someone wants to make a group and find like minded individuals, I am honestly okay with that. I don’t see it as discrimination, no one group is having any advantage over another and it’s just a game. Someone could have entirely sexist or racist reasons for making their limitations for a group, or they could just want to play with similar people.
I will just move on and not play with them, no big deal for me.

There’s nothing wrong about having a girls only group. Boys can do the same thing and have a “man cave” group. If you’re trans and want to group up with other trans players, then do so. It’s a nice way of meeting people.
It’s like in real life; some girls what to just chill together. When I go out with my friends, we go as a group of girls to have fun. If we wanted a dude to tag along, we would say it. But we don’t.
If those are legitimate groups made by girls for girls, then let them make that group. If it’s random guys just wanting to bait in girls, that’s creepy as hell.

If you don’t want to play with boys, that’s fine. If you don’t want to play with symmetra mains, that’s fine too. If you don’t want to play with weebs, that’s also cool.
There is no reason anyone should have to let you join their group.

Eh I’m not too worried about the groups that try to exclude others, though the fact most of them are the SJW types that hate being excluded from anything themselves is always funny.
I do get some what annoyed when they insult the other groups though. Saw a LFG other day asking for only gay men and used a derogatory term “breeders” not being allowed.
I just find it so funny people and groups that fought so hard against people using slurs and insults use them more than the people “they hate”.

If you want “girls only” create it. If you want “boys only” create it. There’s nothing wrong with either. There’s nothing wrong with “adults only” but seems that can get you banned …
So only women and trans people can make gender-exclusive groups and not be disingenuous? And men cannot, because that’s the same as saying “no minorities”? And what if it says “Hispanic men only”?
