Greyed out play button, no option to upgrade to overwatch 2

I’ve downloaded Overwatch 2 using overwatch-setup.exe on battle.net website. After it finished downloading the “Play” button greyed out and there’s no option to upgrade to Overwatch 2.
I’ve tried:

• Resetting my PC
• Changing region
• Using “scan and repair” and “check for updates” in the gear icon

Hi update:
I tried to reinstalling battle.net client and it worked

Sadly Reinstalling battle.net did not work for me, though for me I used:

1. Right click on the overwatch icon on desktop,
2. Open file location
3. Go to retail
4. And the Proper working overwatch will be there

Problem seems to be that the database still things the old overwatch is the correct one, I have yet to try deleting the other version what was left out from the previous version though I think if that is done it would fix the issue. Might need to relocate the game in battle.net as well after it, I just have too poor of an internet to wait 2 days for the game to download back in case something goes wrong.
