Fresh install of Overwatch here. I’m running into an issue where the graphics settings seem to be stuck on low and won’t adjust. The actual setting changes in the settings menu (low-medium-high-ultra, etc.), but the actual graphics visually don’t change at all. Stuck so low, the games not really playable.
Obviously tried multiple restarts, as well as launching as admin.
Please include a DxDiag (as requested in the pinned threads) so members of the community can help you troubleshoot.
Click here to show/hide DxDiag instructions
Press Windows Key + R, then type DxDiag and press Enter.
In the DxDiag window, click Save All Information.
Name the file “dxdiag” and click Save.
To add it to your reply here:
Open the text file and copy all of the text.
Paste the text in your reply.
Highlight the pasted text and click </> on the post editor.
If your DxDiag does not fit in one message do not shorten it. Instead, post it on Pastebin.com and provide the hash code (the numbers/letters after the .com) in your reply, not the entire link because you can’t post those.
While you wait for assistance, I suggest opening the Windows Reliability History tool, which will likely show you what’s happening in the background to cause any errors.
Something is causing a crash for your Windows desktop manager, as well as your GPU. I recommend removing the drivers with Display Driver Uninstaller and then installing the new ones from their website (not the GeForce Experience). This will take some time. Beyond that, if you want to post an MSInfo on Pastebin also, I’ll take a look at that too (don’t post here pls).
