So I have been helping my friend getting a new computer after hers died a few weeks ago. First we started of with an Acer Predator Orion 3000 ( GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, Core i5-12400, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11). In my opinion that computer should be able to handle ow with no problems. But the moment I got in to the game I was supper noticeable that something was off. So I turned to the internet to find a solution. Turning off render scaling, playing around with ingame settings. Lookup the resolution of the screen and all other settings people was talking bout. Even went so far to trying different monitors other graphic cards drivers other versions of windows but noting helped with the blur effect, It was almost like a super motion blur.
Well fast forward a few weeks another friend of mine got himself a new pc as well a LENOVO Legion (I5-12400, RTX™ 3060Ti, 16 GB DDR4-RAM, Windows 11) and the same thing happened again. So my last hope is to turn to you guys. anyone got any ides at all?
I even opened up both pc took them apart and cheeked every port pin and connector to so there wasn’t a power issue.
It not only overwatch either almost every game has the same problem but ow is our main game and where its the most noticeable
My ide is that its a windows 11 problem but that’s just because I’m all out of ideas
have tried one really old benq dont know the model. But also a AOC C27G2U/BK 27’ 165hz 1920x1080 VA and a
Asus TUF VG279QM 27’ 280HZ 1920x1080 IPS
Tried both DP and HDMI
You haven’t given a clear description of the problem, so I don’t know what to recommend. What exactly is happening with the graphics? Simply saying it’s “off” doesn’t tell us anything to work with.
The game gets a blur effect like a really overtuned motion blur. No problem at all when standing still but the moment you starts running around especially when your close to other heroes or in a small room or corridor the entire screen goes in to motion blur. Its not as bad as the render scale bug that was going around a few month’s ago but bad enough to make you feel sick and not wanting to play the game
I own this monitor and I guess you mean it all looks blurry? There is a option in the screen menu called vivid pixel, its defaulted to 0 but I play on 75
Also you need to be able to reach a stable FPS that is just as high or above your refresh rate, if u see blurring when turning this could also mean during fights or what not your FPS drops below your refresh rate.
