I was just playing right before the update and have always been playing on this PC. I was a version behind on my nvidia driver and a new version came up today.
Before upgrading drivers and after the Season 12 patch released I started the game, got in ‘queue’ and my overwatch crashed with the following error
BLZOWCLI00000004
Overwatch has crashed in the graphics driver. If your drivers are not up-to-date, please consider updating them. If the problem persists, please contact customer service.
I then proceeded to update my graphics driver to the latest version and try again.

Found a fix. Something I should’ve done long ago tbh.
Go into your bios, go to “ASUS Multi core Enhancement” in the AI/Extreme Tweaker tab. Set it to “Enforce all limits”. This’ll make sure your motherboard isn’t frying your CPU by sending it too much power as well.
I have the same error since an hour ago. I start the game and immediately it crashes with the error BLZOWCLI00000004. Earlier today Overwatch 2 was working fine.
I adjusted the ASUS MUlti core Enhancement, and yet the game keeps crashing at start.
I have a i9-14900KS, and a RTX 4090.
