So I used GPU Tweak II MSI Afterburner, no matter what this game takes a crap when I OC my gpu using these tools.
I have no problems in other games I play except blizzard games all crap out.
Officially, it is recommended to not use an overclocked GPU or CPU when playing Overwatch. Technical support does not extend to modded computer configurations that include overclocking.
I found that it works under 1700mhz, once I go over this is when OW dies. Why oh why ? this is 2022, it’s very common place to OC hardware.

I am not going to answer why because I can’t provide details to how the game works. Besides, Overwatch is a relatively simple game in terms of graphics rendering and you won’t see any noticeable difference in performance if your hardware already meets the recommended system requirements for Overwatch.
Answer me this if you can, when my game crashes from OC my gpu the launcher gets hung up and I cannot press play, it still says “Playing…” and overwatch processes executable is not even running.
Yeah makes sense. Other games work the same way as well.
Maybe it’s a non-linear effect. Your OC can still work over 1700mhz, you just needa set it higher. Try 3200mhz and increase the voltage accordingly.
Not on Overwatch it won’t work. I have to disable it even BLUES confirm the game will crash with even a mild OC.
