I think that it’s probably too intense for the integrated graphics, but when you get a chance you should try Expedition 33. It’s fantastic! If you have a PS5 or Xbox then you could play it while you wait for your new GPU to arrive.
OW shouldn’t have murdered the last either…are you messing with overclocking and extremely high settings? That’s the only way I can see that happening and that’s a direct result of the overclock being too high, not OW. OW is a CPU intensive game iirc.
Not trying to be that “um ackshually” guy, I just wouldn’t wanna see you buy an expensive GPU and have it die for the same reasons. That would suck
The big issue in the realm of GPUs and their issues depends upon if you bought it factory direct or from a 3rd party that solders the chip on it and claims its “nvidia” or “AMD”.
I quit going with third parties and went to factory direct. Much better luck.
I had EVGA cards last maybe 2 or 3 years and then dump out on me. and the amount of money I spent on them was stupidly crazy.
I finally bought a factory direct card from nvidia and this is the longest ive ever had one last. RTX 2060 on launch from nvidia directly. Today it still works.
Are good games to play without beefy GPU. I’m looking into more fun games to play myself though, preferably easy to pick up and put down games like rogue-like/lite.
You can play over ,100fps with the right settings using that Vega cores integrated in the CPU. Just go 1080p all low, and adjust the rendering scale if needed to lower even more the resolution, but for sure, it runs at 60 with no problem 100% rendering at 1080p. About the 3060 strange, it’s not an old GPU, there are still 20years old GPU that still works. Those new GPU just dissipate too much heat
