Did anyone else get the wrong rank rewards? They took a few divisions off of my ranks before giving me my rewards, putting me from master, to diamond. Will this be resolved? It couldn’t have been rank decay since I was master the night before and had played comp that very day and even got a rank adjustment on a role that was affected. Is there any hope of this being fixed, and did anyone else get this?

Same here. I ended on Diamond support yet, i get rewards for Platinum: “The Highest Reward Rank You’ve Reached: Platinum”. It still says Diamond support as highest rank in my career profile.
Are you freaking kidding me Blizzard? I worked my butt off to get to Diamond as support only to be greeted with this. Can’t you do anything right? The one thing that needs integrity and consistency is this, yet you managed to mess it up.

I didn’t but I’m curious what that purpose is supposed to be? I literally ended on Diamond and that’s also my highest rank so I’m curious what the supposed reason behind this is.

Not having this problem, I got my GM title. I was hoping we would get icons but apparently thats a thing of the past, why should I even bother getting top 500 anymore? For a title thats going to last one season and then goes away? What a waste of time
Did you end the season at the rank you got the rewards for?
They have changed how comp points are rewarded. Its not your highest rank but where you ended the season that matters now.
You may have reached masters 5 but if you ended in diamond you only get diamond rewards
Ended master 5, was master 5 yesterday, log on today and apparently I’m diamond 1. Pretty upset I lost my rewards too.

Only thing that could make sense to me why this happened is that you didnt end master 5 in terms of sr but only in that division which didnt update yet
Ie. It says you are masters 5 but you were actually 3480 sr so technically diamond 1 but because you didnt hit 7 wins it didnt update yet to show diamond 1. And for whatever reason the system takes your sr to determine your end rank not your division??

Yeah that makes sense, but after reading other people’s situations it doesn’t seem to be consistent at all. If that was how the game is supposed to work, fair game. But I wish blizzard would have specified this and be more clear about it rather then having all these players like myself looking forward to their ranked rewards, just to be let down when they logged on today.

I remember blizzard saying that sr wasn’t going to be a thing and that only divisions counted. Guess not. Maybe they will correct it maybe they won’t.
I’m having the same issue as you guys - ended the season as plat 5, logged in… gold 1. But I also got bumped down from gold 2 to gold 5 for tanks and - even though i never finished the “placements” for dps - got given silver 2?
Not even that, but when I go in to comp now - the ranks I have for the roles doesn’t even match??
Profile: Plat 5.
Reward: Gold 2.
Comp role Q: Gold 4.
What is this??

Same here… my rank Sunday night - last time I played - and my Season End rank on Tank doesn’t match. It might not have matches on Support either, I was too busy being annoyed by the Tank drop to notice.
Then with the start of Season 2 I dropped another 3-4 tiers on top of the end of season drop. Which it sounds like might actually be intentional for some dumb reason?
I really do wonder if Blizzard really wants people to keep playing this game. You would think they do, but they sure as hell have a funny way of showing it sometimes…
same thing happened to me… i finished gold 5. i played some games after the fact, but not 7/20 to officially go up or down in divisions. so they award me silver 1 lmao. honestly this ~you can only see ur SR if u win 7 games or lose 20~ stuff is annoying. so my SR clearly went down from those games that weren’t enough to show a division change, but I have no way of knowing it??? please blizzard just let us view our stats and SR like in OW1. it’s really unfair.
