Overwatch was the first and last shooter I have ever played, loved it until they started making stuff unbalanced as hell and just seemed to stop caring about anything.
After what recently happened I’m happy to get rid of Battle Net and with it Overwatch for good, or at least until this company shows that they actually have something that at least resembles a democratic standpoint again.

I wish I had your willpower. I will still play what I paid for, because I enjoy the games. Blizz can forget about getting even a cent from me for any kind of micro-transactions (the area where I spent BY FAR the most), until they end their fanatical pro-China stance.

also there really isn’t a need to literally break ties with one of the biggest economically successful countries because a city decided to protest their beliefs. It is out of Blizzard’s control, and it is a lose-lose situation with them right now.
That’s the more intelligent option. Speak with your wallet and don’t buy more.

- The reason they gave for introducing Role Queue was better social interactions at the start of the match (and they are better).
- Giving separate skill ratings per role.
Thank god for it, I actually have friendly chats prematch now. No tilted fighting over playing DPS.
Every match I’ve had has either been totally toxic or completely silent.
Bronze silver and gold are always toxic, and probably always will be because people aren’t consistent enough to make it feel like they’re not throwing.

I haven’t played Overwatch in almost 2 years now, but i forgot to start a thread.
Not my first FPS, but probably my last.
I might pick up Rage2 when it goes on sale and probably get the new Doom when it comes out(if my laptop can take it). Thinking about getting the new Quake as well.
I guess it won’t be my last FPS, but probably my last MOBA style/class based FPS for sure.
