Gonna write this to make everyone angry (leavers penalty)

I think the leaver’s penalty is too soft, even now. I think this is an online game, and you share the lobby with 9 other people. Before this change, the losing team had permanent 3v5 or 4v5, and would afk cuz there’s no point. The winning team just afk spawn camp cuz the enemy doesn’t want 3v5. What a fun experience! All because a leaver Andy cannot mentally and physically take losing an online video game’s unranked mod without tearing his own shirt and crying on the floor.

BuT it’S a WaStE oF TiMe, then don’t play the game! How about that? How about uninstalling and leaving for a therapy if losing an unranked game makes you so mad?

BuT it’S nOt FuN! then don’t play it?! Everyone sits around 50% winrate, from bronze to top500. This means we all, including everyone who will reply to this thread, is losing every second match. If you can’t take it, go play against easy bots or quit the game.

BuT IWanT toDo WeEEKly ChallEnGES! Losing gives progress too.

BuT MyINTERNEt is BAd. Then don’t play an online video game or buy a normal internet? Maybe like 50mbps and without ccp censorship??? (this shot my own leg btw).

Seriously, there’s 0 arguments you can bring to justify your crybaby behaviour. Even now, the penalty is too soft. I said it. You must absolutely get punished for ruining an entire game for everyone.

BuT… I don"T CARE I want TOLEAVE. I don’t care either, my brother. Enjoy your ban.

I genuinely don’t understand all this whining about leaving penalty. It only bothers leavers: one of the lowest layer of this community. One of the least respected layers of this community. Your voice is not going to be heard because you are seriously trying to justify a toxic behaviour.

As someone who has never left a game outside of a dc or an actual infrequent emergency….I see no reason to fear a leaver penalty….raise it all the way to permanent for all I care….they’re not a concern

I’m not sure I could care less about the penalty. I don’t remember the last time I left a game. This community is super confused about what kind of game this is.

In the rare times I play QP, my dog will start trotting to the door signaling he needs to pee. OK fine, one leave is nothing. Join another right after, he now remembers he needs to poop. I’ve immediately got 2 quits on my record lmao

What is confusing here? You share the lobby with 9 people. You Q up to play the game, not to win. No matter who you are, you are going to lose games. Does the community think they will win all the time? I don’t get it.

As much as I agree the number of players with 1k+ hours in quickplay but zero in comp is scary. For some it is the game and they do take it seriously. Why? No idea.

Quite the opposite….I don’t take it “seriously”….which is why it doesn’t matter that I’m not getting the exact game I want…I don’t need to constantly leave to seek that…

Just play…

I’m all in for punishing leavers, but 4 hours seems a bit disproportionate. It’s not a soft penalty at all imo.

I still think they should reward the good players who always stay no matter what instead of toughening the penalties.

a more staggered system would have been possible

for example over 20 matches
4 leaves = 20 minutes
6 leaves = 40 minutes
8 leaves = 75 mins
10 leaves = 120 minutes
+10: why do you still play this game where you spend your time not playing it?

I mean the penalty comes way too late. 4 games out of 20, it means they can leave every 5th or 6th match.

It would take a lot of time to punish leavers = one of the lowest layers in this community, right above hackers and throwers. Such behaviour should be punished. The games that have good punishments are always more successful.

What punishment do you think we need to add for people who treat QP as the tryhard mode instead of comp? Tryhards actually playing comp instead of QP would solve a lot of problems.

The devs said that the QP was made for that.

You have the right to want to impose that the QP is only for chilling, for that you will have to buy ABK from Microsoft and I think it will be a little more than $69 billion.

Once this purchase is done you will be able to dictate your conditions to the devs.
In the meantime you have accepted the EULA of the game and the conditions imposed by the devs through it.
And the fact is that if you don’t respect them you will have a penalty.
However, there are other games with an EULA that will suit you more.

Imo qp is sweatier than comp here lately. It’s kind of ridiculous. The mm is still broken, (at this point beyond repair), and games in any mode are stomp or be stomped. But what evs, it’s a game, not the end all be all of life.
