It would be cool to have the ability to transfer one golden weapon from a hero to another, maybe twice per year or something.
But why?

I wouldn’t be against the idea of golden weapon refunds on characters with major overhauls. But aside from that… I don’t think it really is needed for anything.
A major rework yeah, or a major patch sending your hero into the depths of nothingness.
I would be against it because it would be… weird.
The option to buy this cosmetic hero-specific would be pointless.
More importantly, it would go against the spirit to change it imo. I would assume that many players take about haöf a year or longer to get one.
Also many long time players dont even have their first gun.
Switching golden guns in that period seems strange to me.
And golden guns should show some effort and devotion. This would be lost if you could just switch them. Every single gun should be earned the same way.
I got a golden weapon with pharah a long time ago.
Needless to say she hasnt been playable in quite some time, and wont be playable for the forseeable future
