Such toxic hero design, just pocket your DPS all match and make them a pain for the enemy DPS players to get rid of and have some of the most low key busted movement in the game so unless you’re a hitscan or echo you’re not doing crap to her.

Support heroes that are designed to play evasion simulator (aka having not enough of their value tied to proactive engagement) are poorly designed and always feel like doo doo to play against

Not when your dps can’t aim for shi! Imo Mercy is honestly just good for her dmg boost and rez and if your dps can’t hit anything it’s just better to play another support that can actually do more to help out your team…

Again… yes Mercy is borderline impossible to counter. But her output per second is hilariously low so you don’t need to. If you can’t beat her by just out valuing her ridiculously hard, that’s a you problem.
I’m not saying that this is necessarily a good design for Mercy, but I don’t expect her to get a good rework… well… ever honestly.

Everytime i play mercy and i try to pocket someone they’re wiffing the whole time so damage boost is a moot point. Also, unless the pocket player is hitting their shots, it’s essentially 4 v 5 because a damage boosting mercy is useless if the other play can’t hit anything.
i do the same mercy does as lifeweaver, my healing accuracy is 100%
luckily i even have the skin with the mask.
i just brainafk and spam left mouse button. I can even stop people from feeding.
i feel like a mercy doing this, never engage in fights always run away and spam unmissable heals.

I agree! As a dps I should be able to easily win a 1v2 when I’m fighting against someone pocketed. It’s crazy to talk to my teammates and fight against the pocketed dps in a 2v2 fight.

yes it does. Coordinating with someone requires more effort than pocketing.
Not to mention dps with a pocket mercy outweighs 2 dps in any scenario.
And the smallest hitbox because why not
I dont like her because it just seems oppressive to go against if you dont have one, you have to hit more shots than the pocket, evade more shots, and hopefully deal enough dmg and not be interrupted by another player on the enemy team to get the kill, and she can ress them behind a wall where you dont have time to stop it. And i honestly dont blame her or her players for that its just the way the hero was designed and it just really sucks to play against
