Of course a 800HP hero with high mobility, oneshot mechanics and self healing is going to counter anything in this game…
Most teams open with 3 tanks and 2 supports. Half of the hero pool is unplayable in one of the main game mode.

Hmm. What if Blizzard modified open queue so that there were only a limited amount of teammates per role, and teammates couldn’t swap roles mid-game?

Wouldn´t mind if it was locked to 2-3-3, 2-4-3 or 2-5-3 but still 5v5!
One shot and self healing is the great Hog rest I got no clue… Oh and 800 hp is just irony or sarcasm…
You don’t have any other options if you want to play 2 Tanks as premades - e.g. with your Tank Duo friends from OW1.

Because they never knew how to balance it and still don’t. Instead of figuring how to balance the game they just threw it in the trash said we’ll play 5v5 instead. Turns out thats actually harder to balance and they can’t do it

No way I run goats for you to wastw it all with a dps hero, at that point we might even have 2 or 3.

why would I wanna put my hopes in the hands of a playet willingly selecting a hero everyone can solo easily as any tank.

That is because the only people who play that mode right now are tank mains who hate solo tanking.
Sometimes I get an itch to play Zarya but I am not gonna subject myself to solo tanking so I go there to play her

I’d argue that it isn’t Overwatch, when the Role with the largest Hero roster is missing.
If it were that simple, then the devs could just shove the surplus of DPS players into 6v6 DPS only matches to solve Q times - but I guarantee you that many people wouldn’t be happy about this as well.
