Dear overwatch team. Fix your game and get rid of goats. It is destroying the game and is by far the worst meta you have ever come up with. I am not the only one. Stop worrying about quality of life for niche characters and change the meta.

Have you even looked at the recent PTR patch? They are trying to change it, but game balance takes time. Also they didn’t come up with anything, the goats meta was created by pro players.

Unfortunately - you are in the crowd missing half their brain.
Outside of the highest levels of the competitive ladder, you rarely see goats comp played with any consistency. Furthermore, those levels of the ladder represent a very small percentage of the player base. So, goats is not ruining ‘the game’ - your peers in diamond and above are the ones enamored so much with it that you run goats often.
Next - Blizzard does not create ‘the meta’. It is created at the highest levels of the competitive ladder by teams that play through many many iterations of team compositions to discover what is potentially the most efficient and advantageous. The meta evolves and changes starting at the highest ranks and is generally contained at the higher ranks. The middle and lowest ranks generally are not in lock step with the current meta.
So, before getting back on the stage - throw away the tiara and get real. ‘The Game’ is fine. You just don’t like goats.

They’ve been trying for months. If you legitimately think they’ve just been sitting back and laughing at us, I don’t know what to tell you. Maybe grow out the second half of your brain before trying to complain?

and i think goats isn’t the worst, beyblade was worse and quad tank was worse and double instant rezz mercy was worse
So we went up to Blizzard Arena for our first time last Sunday to watch the matches. While GOATS isn’t ruining the average player’s game play it makes for watching the games, even live, awful dull. I would love to go to more live games since it’s only a two hour drive for us but until the pro-meta changes I don’t see that happening. I know people say it’s big brain and super technical to run goats but it’s a lot like a 1-0 MLB final score. It may have been a pitcher’s duel full of technical nuance but the common fan is going to pick runs every day of the week. This is the same reason all pro sports tweak their rules every season to try and get more action and scoring into their games. Hopefully over the course of this season they can adjust to give the casual fans more reason to watch.
