Of course it’s not guaranteed, but it’s highly unlikely that they’ll be in your game. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever played with the same person after waiting a short time before queing. It’s called queue dodging, and a common practice.

I am mid diamond, queue dodging is nothing new to me or most people and guess what, I get a lot of the same players due to them using the same techniques, funny how that works?
