Well this line of thought is the same as treating Widow’s scope as “Beam damage”
Which would make NO SENSE.
Bastion is a Sentry, a large machine gun firing 50 cal bullets rapidly, and cannot move.
Why should these bullets somehow ignore the laws of “Every other bullets can crit” Simply because he has a lot of ammo?
Look at Sombra.
She fires a real clip of actual bullets, in the exact same “Beam” you’re on about, with a tiny clip.
Does she need to have no ability to crit?
Obviously not.
how so? let’s go over to the bastion thread so we don’t derail this thread. comment on it so it comes to the top and I’ll meet you there, k?
You can comment there if you like, but i’m sorry… you’ll be met with logic and reasoning.

Try to avoid playing D.Va whenever possible, unless you find that you must, then do have fun, but—despite what everyone else tells you here—do not “git gud” or you will have us all nerfed ahead of schedule.

Mercy:
Turn around this way and that while healing to watch for sneaky flanking or Sombra coming out of stealth.
Lucio Tip: Dont die, press spacebar alot, learn how aim while wallriding and turn reverse wallride ON I have no idea why that was even turned off. Learn when to use ult, easy example; when they have a Genji wait till he uses sword on you.

I see a lot of people trying to aim for the head, which works great on bigger targets with bigger hitboxes. But often times, the people you’re pulling aren’t big. Aim for the torso, move forward as much as you can before the target is hooked to you, and melee afterwards. Most, if not all characters will be one shot.

You need to enable backward wall riding for Lucio and use it on contested points as much as possible. You can backward wallride back and forth over a short distance while facing away from the wall. This way you can hover just above a death ball and land some well aimed shots. You can retreat up the wall if you get focused or just glide around it. With well placed defensive boops and speed, you can really hang out above the fight for a while, healing the entire time. Eventually you’ll irritate the other team enough that they start to target you instead of your team.
Symmetra:
Using Big Wall to protect your turrets (instead of your teammates) can be brutally effective in the right situations. Consider the Night Market point as a good example. Three turrets along a single wall, placed reasonably high. Big Wall goes parallel to that wall and close to it. You now have three turrets that will last the entire teamfight (which is basically a win), that can only be solved by the enemy turning their back to the teamfight, running up against the wall and looking up (which is basically suicide).
The single best use of this is on attacking Hanamura B. The turrets go on the central back column and the Big Wall (placed close) now protects those turrets but also blocks all ranged damage from respawning enemies that wish to send damage into the point before / instead of contesting.
Caveats: this technique is brutally effective in a large number of situations, but certainly not in all situations or even on all maps. I do highly recommend that Sym players keep an eye out for places where it works, though, because where it does, it rocks.

And my tip is…dont
Doomfist
everytime you are faced with a moira or tracer, charge your punch and let them fade/recall away, and then follow up at their new location. Most moira/tracer players won’t take the risk of waiting for your punch to activate and THEN escaping
Uninstall.
I love 20 character character limits they are super fun and make my quick comments on the internet easy to read.
Genji, don’t dash in and pop ult out in the open, youre locked in a 1 second animation where you can be killed very easily, pop behind cover then go in.

Be stingy with your DM and micro missiles. Your DM is the most valuable ability to negate OP abilities, and your micro missiles is 50% increase to your normal attack that is capable of killing Widow, Hanzo, Ashe, Pharah, and Zenyatta with a single dive attack + melee if necessary (100% practice required).
Also, most importanly; spam voicelines to annoy everyone.
