Give Mercy mains mostly what they want

This Mercy fuss has been going on for a long while.

To fix it, just give Mercy mains mostly what they want.

  • Mass rez as an Ult, but with a cast timer, and not effective through walls.

  • Make Valk just a movement ability on a cooldown.

  • And then if that’s not enough, do some other nerf or buff.

Mass Rez, no cast time, no invul. Get rid of Valk, give an ability to increase healing for like 3 secs

That’s not gonna happen. Old mercy without invuln was played more than old Ana in every rank besides the top 5% of players.

And current Ana isn’t anywhere near the power she was then.

(Not to mention, weak Roadhog instakills, intercepting those instant-Rez).

If you want Mass Rez, you need counterplay.

No invul means you can kill her. There were times were I got killed trying to press my ult (pre invul) so I couldn’t Rez.

Single Res, CAST TIME, no invu, lower ult charge so you can use it more often, utility on E.
Or no res at all.

You don’t speak for everyone…and furthermore the mercy mains don’t speak for mercy mains either…

Forums are a small fraction of the community…and furthermore they tend to be a place to complain rather than support…

So just because there are several posts about something does not mean that everyone all of a sudden wants a change…

Blizz has enough avenues for information gathering (on top of forums) that they use to decide when to change things…

The most annoying thing by far on forums is people speaking for everybody

Single Rez would be garbage, make it 3 and we can talk, no cast time either cause her ult would be F-tier, no invul either. Rez won’t be removed, so might as well make it an ult

It would be garbage in your OPINION.
I for one never want to see mass res again.
All we have is opinions on here and a tiny portion of the playerbase :slight_smile:

Sorry but this doesn’t seems an ultimate.

Rez is already counterable, and is not even the reason for which she is picked so much.

Move it to ultimate without change how it works would be a huge nerf.

It would be awful as an ult, it’s kinda objective. If mass Rez had to be buffed with invul once because just Rezzing 5(maybe) people want enough, 1 person would make it terrible

i’m a mercy main and don’t want mass rez back. a single instant rez in valk would be nice imho

What about a single res with no cast time? even then insta res is BS.
Multi-res with no way to counter it was pure cancer to play against (I am not a DPS main before you say anything)
Just shoot her 4head?

ALL ultimate can be countered in some fashion.

Huh, that would work too, but it would probably need a nerf to balance.

What would be your preference, less healing output, or less survival?

Well, it was pretty easy to counter. Ult economy. A single Rez with no cast time as an ability would be OP, and as an ult extremely bad. Just make it like 3 people max

i’d take an ult duration nerf! cut it to 10 seconds maybe? :slight_smile:

give her a healing burst that can be blocked by shields just like all other AOE healz

O just amplify her healing beam, it’s way easier to implement and balance

That’s not much of a nerf though, and mercy is already picked too much.

Gotta be a bigger nerf than that.
