Doom’s current ult is pretty underwhelming. When it was strong, it lacked counterplay. Right now it’s weak and is just a glorified escape ability. I propose he get a cool, new ultimate.
Unless Doom uses his meteor strike on a sleeping target or a grav, it almost never does enough damage to kill anyone.
Most Doom players that are actually a threat to me and I have to actively focus on countering use their ults to get high ground and then go for a slam, or just as a quick escape. Other DPS heroes can do almost the exact same thing, only it’s an ability and not an ultimate.
New ult could be where he charges up (like .5 seconds), then grabs everyone in a small area, jumps to the top of the map, and slams them in to the ground. The idea isn’t fully formed, but basically something where he slams enemies in to the ground, but done so in a way where there is counterplay.
