Give console players ptr

If you have your battlenet connected to your Ps4/Xbox account and you have the blizaard launcher you should be able to test the ptr if there is going to be console specific balance i think console users should be able to test the changes also that account must have played overwatch at some point or another

Blizzard can’t give console players the PTR because Sony and Microsoft need to approve every change made to the game on their platform, and that takes a while. Meanwhile on PC, it’s their own platform, so they can change without needing approval.

I’m pretty sure he’s saying give console players PTR on their PCs if they own the game on a console and link their account.

Yeah i play console as well but this is the wrong place. If you wanted to demand it youd go to microsoft/sony cause they are the ones that are in control of that.

they also have to pay microsoft for updates…

granted not really that much but blizzard is extremely cheap on these sort of stuff.

people whined for 60 tick servers and it wasnt until people start to whine about 120 ticks blizzard finally gave us 60 tick servers

That would mean there would be delays on PTR patches too, because of wait times for patch approval. Yeah, no thanks.

But you see, that is a loss of money that Blizzard could be getting from you buying a PC account.

You could also say PTR on computer for console players could lead people to buying Overwatch on PC too. It just depends on the person…

That’s not what I’m saying. I’m saying that since they’re able to run Overwatch on their PC, shouldn’t they just buy Overwatch on PC? Blizzard would probably think like that. It’s additional money for them.
