Give cass his flash back

i feel like there should be at least one stun in the dps role to deal with hyper mobile dive heroes targeting your backline. cass’s flash was the perfect thing to sit on your ana or zen with and wait for the flanker, it required you to land the flash and a follow up shot or two even, it was very healthy counter play in the game but was taken out because of other stuns in other roles that dont use them as effectively against flankers. tanks have the most stuns, but most of the time when they turn to deal with a genji/tracer/doom is results in a lost fight anyway, they are better off using the stun to secure a kill on the opposing backline. tanks and supports shouldnt have to land the skill shot on the flanker every fight, especially when a lot of players (espcoally lower elo) picks tank/support because they dont have a ton of mechanical skill to begin with and rely on other mechanics and game knowledge

Yes, especially after the Tracer buff.

Cass gets bullied by tanks hard now, they dive him for free. Even Hog, just takes a breather where you could have stunned him out of it…

The solution isn’t to give him back the one thing that allowed him to bully the entire roster.

Please no. I’m finally able to play the game because it’s gone. Before OW2, it was a literal stun and death simulator with JUST Cass on the enemy team

I agree. And Junkrat’s trap is that one stun.

do you really believe his stun is healthier than cass stun?

I see no problem with that

in a 1v1, a tank should win 99% of the time unless they get outplayed

I disagree, flash was so inconsistent and the stun was basically countered by spamming jump.

At least new nade works.

it has a limited range and could even be tuned to be a shorter range or harder to hit, but as of right now if you get dove on cass you fall over, and the sticky is just as unfun and just as much as an “i win” button, it does over 100 dmg for an auto aim sticky

Hell no, no more stuns pls.

ive noticed everyone screaming no havent put reason at all to support the claim other than it helps him win duels which his sticky does too and is way more annoying

It was more of a curt steadfast response rather than a scream.

Because the sticky can be outplayed after it’s been deployed, when you’ve been stunned well “haha, good luck, hope the shots don’t land”.

A true “flashbang” would’ve been better than seeing yourself die in first person unable to move. Stun was cheap.

i understand it wasnt the most fun, but its not an auto aim 130 dmg like sticky

Genji says hi

Also thats pretty much what happens too with grenade

is sticky any cheaper? or did they just remove the nuance of the hero like being able to check doom/hog?

So his current nade is still pretty good at “denying”, flankers, especially Reaper, Sombra, Moira, etc… anyone with an “oh crap” escape tool. While it might not stun them, or even secure a kill, it will force them out and to use their cool down. That’s almost just as good, and is still good security, and can still be lethal if said flanker has already blown their cd.

For the rest, it’s good damage. On Blossom it’s still good kill potential, if you’re aware of Reaper and have been tracking ult… etc.

i understand that flash cancelling ult sucks, but does killing him just to die at 130 hp feel better? can we agree that if you kill cass with 100 health left you should live?

Mmm, possibly. On the other hand, could you agree that at least in this circumstance you get the opportunity to take him down with you instead of being flashed and hammered to death before being able to do even that?
