Same exact thing is happening to me. Can’t enter a match, or even the training room. Stays at “Applying Update” for about 30 seconds and gives HF-1 error, booting you to the login screen.

Haven’t been able to fix it either with recommended suggestions.

Error HF-1 or HF-2 or HF-5 (Applying Update Failure)

Hey, gijoe! Did you try all of the steps on this article?

If so, could you try switching to another region temporarily and see if the same error occurs?
