Some of my friends are away from battle.net for a while, and some of them leave for good.
If I sent someone a gift from the Overwatch store, would that bounce if they had removed me from friends on Bnet? I wanted to gift a friend Rose Gold Mercy, but if they left bnet or unfriended me, I’d rather not.

You can’t gift the rose gold or the pink mercy.
You can gift battlenet balance so they can buy the skins themselves, but straight up gifting them isn’t possible.
Don’t know about if gifts bounce or anything if they’re not claimed though.
You can in NA through the BNET shop. Unless someone has proven it doesn’t work, the button is there and takes you to the purchase screen if you go most of the way through.
The devs statez in a Q&A about them that you can’t gift them. That’s all i know.
Yeah. That is what they said, and you cannot “gift” them in game, but for whatever reason the BNET client lets you do it to friends. I’ll try it out later to see if it goes through, I have at least one friend who still plays.
I gifted Rose Gold to three people and Pink to two, all a few hours ago. You can’t gift them from in-game, but you CAN gift them through the launcher shop tab.
That’s a loop hole then.
