GI Joe not selling

On Steam’s top sellers, OW2 is top 84 global, top 48 USA. This is so far from hitting top 10 during other collabs. GI Joe just isn’t well known and is not selling.

Or it’s because this game is dead?

Well thats a bummer! Maybe it just needs more time. Also, families are probably on vacation right now. :world_map:

During the start of the new season last week, OW2 was a top seller: top 6 US, top 7 Global. So the game is not dead yet.

“Steam player counts only count when I say so” get a new tactic and job.

I’m not talking player count by the way. It’s top sellers- based on profit.

The game was making money last week from bp and other bundles.

But it’s not making the same money from GI Joe compared to other collabs.

Wow that changes everything. Their scam to fund other future scams isn’t working! A shame you’ll never get a cut of it even if it did.

It just isnt a popular ip outside of the west more specifically i think only in the US its popular and even then the ppl who its popular to are in their middle age now lol.

It would have sold better with Sombra as Baroness and Storm Shadow Hanzo. I mean, maybe not top sales or anything, but it definitely would have been more interesting.

Because nobody cares about gi joe nobody asked for this

The skins are trash too and it’s the same few heroes (Genji, Widow, Reaper) getting skins. Next…

GI joe is way too old for overwatch’s audience. not sure what they were thinking.

saying that, i’ve seen many people with the skins.

Ok

(That was my entire take/analysis of the situation)

This is probably correct. And based on peak player times, the only people that use steam to play OW2 are outside of the US. So, it adds up. None of them are buying it, but plenty of people in US are (probably). I know I did.

…so, you are just completely contradicting yourself? umm, okay? lol.

It’s cause there’s no Kiriko skin.

Just not as big as Transformers or TMNT or He-Man.

You do know the majority of the player base is on Battlenet though. Ysing Steam as an indicator for anything Overwatch will always give you grossly lower numbers.
