Like there’s no competition between them, these qp games are like astronomically more difficult than when I’m playing comp. I really just want to relax and have fun in my qp games not feel like i need to go total sweat mode every time i log in.
I play comp at masters, and i know quickplay is just gonna throw be with people from wherever which is probably part of the issue. However these games feel so much harder, it’s not like I’m playing with other masters in qp either, i go and check their accounts and their in gold or platinum half the time but they don’t feel like gold or plat games.
Idk why, it’s just getting taxing when i queue into quickplay on this account and all i wanna do is chill, i don’t want the games to be super easy and I’m not into pub stomping lower skilled players but i don’t want my quickplay games feeling more difficult than my competitve games, thats the problem.
It’s not. I recently made an alt. I’m masters too and it was really easy for the first 15 games. Carried the team with anything and always got potg. But soon the matchmaking decided to give me normal opponents while keeping the noobs in my team. There’s litearlly at least 2 players that play their first to sencond game with me EVERY MATCH while having solid platinum enemies with golden weapons on 3 out of 5 hero…It happens on my main too. Noobs should be playing with noobs not among veteran players. The matchmaking is just straight up trash.
Quickplay games are EASIER for me strictly because higher level players are in the lobby. I know it sounds delulu; however, I am better than my rank. I just perform better when people know what they are doing and whatnot. Competitive is annoying because I am guaranteed gold and platinum players unless they want to give THEM the diamond or master players. Which they often do… Because I am better than my rank.
You’re possibly running into a lot of stacks, it’s common especially in weekends in qp.
And since there is no restrictions on how people can group up, it can get pretty wild.
Also there may be qp warriors around who play comp very little but grind qp so their mmr in QP is higher than in competitive.
Anyways, yeah, qp is really not that much “easier” if youre solo queueing - at least if youre relatively high ranked the games tend to be quite sweaty often.
A lot of people only do placement matches on Comp, they get gold and think wtf, get dissapointed and don’t want to grind it and just go play QP. So their MMR is a lot higher then their SR.
You can thank the fact that they keep trying to make the game more and more competitive for that. Not to mention the people that play QP instead of comp because they are too anxious to play comp and demand that you treat it like their version of comp.
I never understood this complaint. Do you just want players to hand you the win in quick play? If you want a chill experience, then chill. But you can’t expect other players not to try to win
This is true as well.
Taking it easy is a state of mind, and if youre taking it easy thats all up to you and you shouldnt then get worked up if you lose games.
