Yeah same here, nonstop frame rate and lag issues. It even happens in menus for customization not involving pvp, definitely borderline unplayable.

Also playing on PS5 and having the same problem. Is not a latency issue since I have 60ms~80ms

I’ve asked around while playing quickplay and apparently it is not just PS5 but all next-gen console clients being affected including xbox.
Last-gen consoles are unaffected by this.

New hero launch , more players trying the game , its always like this and blizzard will not fix their infrastructure cause it will eventually settle.

I hope you’re right but it has never been THIS bad before.
I usually can just hop into the new season with no problems but today I couldn’t even comprehend what was happening in the game with all of the framerate drops.
I would play Kiriko & throw suzu and it would just disappear, same goes for most projectiles.
I have gigabit internet, I usually average 49-50 latency/19-20 IND so I know for a fact it’s not my end.

Still no fix…? we’re about to be going on 24 hours Blizzard. If you’re trying to redeem yourself, please hotfix immediately. We can suffer with heavy monetization, unbalanced heroes, hard counters, increased CC, OP supports, among everything else we’ve had to endure.
Just make the game playable. When Hanzo had machine gun arrows, it was fixed within hours. Infinite flying Sigma, less than 12 hours.

Sony just dropped a software update for PS5 this morning and Overwatch 2 is still having framerate drops so any speculation that it’s PlayStation servers is out of the question.

My entire friend group is on PS5 and we’re getting nonstop frame drop issues. Definitely since downloading the update. Going to rewdownload the game and see if it fixes the issue. Check back here for those results.

Please do report back. In all honesty I believe it’s Mauga. Was experiencing similar FPS drops during the Blizzcon weekend when he was first introduced to play in game. After they removed him the game felt good again. That’s just my observation
