I have been kicked from every competitive match just before the character select screen for at least the last 2 days. I have now lost around 300 sr because of this and I am now banned for 2 hours for “leaving matches early” As though it is meant as an insult, I can still see match chat with everyone complaining about people leaving and saying “GG” because I’m gone and the match is cancelled, but I have no “rejoin” button.
UPDATE: Re-installed Overwatch. Checked for driver updates, windows updates, everything I could think of. Played one game. Won it. Entered next game, kicked. Lost the sr I just gained, and 8 hr. ban. HELP
So I’ve spent a good amount of time receiving no help but to do the things I’ve already done. I cannot submit a support ticket for reasons unknown to me. Not a single mother hubbard is providing me with any kind of assistance. If you bunch of monkeyfighting offspring of female dogs don’t want people to play the game then just say so and I’ll just go and funk my ashe-hole instead of trying.
P.S. I hope someone at least gets to chuckle at that “ashe-hole” thing before this is taken down.

I’ve also experienced this and it’s super frusterating, the blizzard app is the only thing that disconnects as well and it’s ridiculous that they call this a fair punishment. I understand the issue being that you want to penalize leavers but if you can’t differentiate a leaver from a DC then you need to have an appeal system in place. If it was a ISP issue that would be one thing but it’s not. I still have connection to everything except the blizzard app. It’s honestly making me want to quite OW all together.

Yeah, this has happened to me too. It doesn’t happen when I play any other mode, but when I play Competitive, I often get kicked to the main menu. Then I try to rejoin. If I click at the right time, it will allow me to rejoin and the “Lost Connection to Game Sever” message with the Overwatch opening screen will pop up on top of it. Then I am put back to the main menu, and I rejoin.
I’ve gotten penalized for it, and it’s extremely unfair to me and to my teammates that I get kicked out during a match, then penalized for it.
Someone, please look into this because it’s not cool.

I just had this happen to me mid match. No sr change seems to have happened yet though, but we were already on the second round of defense and there was a team clearly in the lead.
