Getting duplicates instead of Wrecking Ball cosmetics?

I am honestly confused. Several updates ago there was a new mechanic added to the loot box system that prevented you from receiving duplicates unless you have all of the items from a specific tier. I had all of the blue and white cosmetics in the game prior to Wrecking Ball’s release along with a majority of purple. In the very first loot box I opened after Wrecking Balls release I was greeted with four duplicates, even a duplicate from the purple tier (which I am missing a few items from).

I am honestly confused as to why I am getting duplicates instead of new cosmetics for Wrecking Ball. Does anybody know why?

I have the same issue, earned two loot boxes after the update, and all duplicates. Bought five just to make sure I didn’t have bad luck, and again, nothing but duplicates. All post-patch, I think the loot box system is bugged right now.

I have the same issue. And I want to make it clear that I EARNED/RECEIVED the lootboxes AFTER he went live. I know some people are saying they saved up lootboxes beforehand, but I know loot is “rolled” upon receiving the box, not opening it. So yeah, two brand new lootboxes earned after the patch and all blue/white rarity dupes instead of Hammond stuff.

Yep same here, got my arcade lootboxes and all duplicate items, no Wrecking Ball loot

I can confirm. I have every cosmetics in the game, and I keep getting duplicates.

Okay, it just got weirder. I got a lootbox with a duplicate legendary item, which has not happened to me since the update that lowered the rate of duplicates, and I definitely have nowhere near every legendary in the game. If I had to guess, I’d say that for some of us (probably not all since this thread isn’t exploding) it has been reset to the old duplicate system.
