You don’t get banned for only one game, you need to be reported a lot for the system to act. So probably you’re not really that innocent.

I haven’t said anything toxic for the past 7 days dude, so this makes no sense.

If you said it was because you’re a one trick, i would agree with you the report system gets abused. But now people can’t see if you’re a one trick, so you had to do something to get reported in a lot of matches. That’s why i’m guessing you’re not innocent.
But who knows, maybe i’m completely wrong and you’re innocent. The only thing you can do is appeal the ban.

They’ll just say you are and use that as an excuse.

it takes multiple, overtime toxic/issues for you to get banned. 7 days of good behavior isn’t enough.

I’m not a one-trick, actually I’m far from that.
But sometimes, I don’t feel like filling like I usually do, so I pick whatever I want to play and expect my team fill.
Thing is, people realized that you can report someone for abusive chat instead of gameplay sabotage (which doesn’t appeal here, since you can’t report for picks), because abusive chat is easier to use, I can say in chat that I don’t want to switch and get banned for abusive chat. This is why the system isn’t working as it should be working.

They can use anything as an excuse to report someone, but you need to get reported consistently for the system to act.

Then you can appeal the ban, Blizzard can look at the chat log to see if you were toxic or not.

Is this Quick play, arcade or competitive?

So you want to tell me that if I’ve been toxic before for example, then I reform for lets say 7-10 days, I can get banned because of a single match? Thats exactly why I claim that the system is broken.

Being a good boy for 7-10 days, is not enough. You pretty much admitted to being toxic …

you probably are on their “watch” list after that. Repeat offenders dont catch the breaks.

what saddens me is I thought Chickensoup was good for the soul.

Its competitive play

So you play comp, but don’t want to play with your team?

Was there any hero you were missing, or did you pick widow before the other players chose their?

I’m not going to deny that I’ve never been toxic, since I don’t care, we’re all humans after all and we’re all making mistakes. But if I reform for a good 7-10 days, a single game shouldn’t be a reason to ban me, especially a game where the reports are not justified

It clearly seems like before the 7-10 days, you must have been reported a lot for you to get banned after 1 game.

Have you read my original post? I fill for my team 90% of the time, but sometimes I don’t feel like playing healer so I instalocked dps

I used 7-10 days as an example, Its actually far more than 7-10 days since I play on that account for placements only, and I don’t reckon being toxic in placements since they don’t matter

Just not be toxic at all. Not in any format, QP, Arcade, ect. I’m sure if you just tone down whatever it is you are doing then you will not get banned again.

Im sure everyone in this game has had some type of toxic moment with another, i have. But I have played a crap ton and never have been punished/banned. Keep your issues out of the game and just have fun.

Like 90% of the people in this game don’t want to play with their team but aren’t banned.

So before any player picked any other hero, you chose widow?
Or did you choose her after the team had picked two dps heroes?
