It’s obvious 6v6 will return, the competitor made sure of that(TY Micks). It’s just an engine “upgrade” and lack of some features (cards and medals). Not even considered a DLC as Elden ring level, but more like fancy patch.

They should get rid of the 2 and give it 3!

No - if they made it Overwatch 3 then it would be 4v4. I’d prefer Overwatch 0, which could be 7v7.

Or maybe Overwatch -5, which would be 12v12. :slight_smile:

Amateurs. There are several options, none of which involve numbers:

  • Over Watch (putting a space in the title denotes that it is different)
  • Overwatches (plural!)
  • Overwatch X (the letter “X” is so cool and edgy, it can carry a later sequel by itself)
  • The Overwatch (a definite article is compelling)

To be fair, Elden Ring probably set the highest bar ever for DLC content. It’s literally a GOTY nominee.

I think DLC shouldn’t compete for GOTY, it’s just more content, mechanically wise is still the same game, but with the current games being so lame I see why they nominated a DLC

It is returning however, the devs made it clear it’s not the end all be all. It’s not replacing 5v5. and most likely will be sharing a spot next to it.

Rivals doesn’t have an establish meta, and is already facing the same open que issues OW did.

Like all is fine an dandy in the honey moon face when everyone is playing all the heroes, no one knows what their doing really, allowing most instinctive first through strats to randomly pop off just because the enemy also hasn’t seen it happen a thousand times yet.

I prefer OW8, where we watch AI fight against each other. Would be the most chill experience.

Honestly, I could forgive many shortcomings in the balancing or the hero designs or the lack of PvE events like Archives and such…

if we had some ****** incentive to the game.

Seriously you can put 300 hours or 8 weeks into this game and all you get is 3 epic skins unless you put serious, not pocket-money, amounts of money into the game.

I’m sick of this. I want casual progression, I want to be able to earn at least a portion of the skins they release. All my friends moved on from this game, I have nothing that keeps me here except boredom and the pain that leaving would mean I wasted several years collecting my hero gallery for nothing.

This is genius. Especially if we can queue up and then call the AIs trash and comment that they need to heal/take space/get kills.
