Get rid of hogs 50% damage reduction

Hog is too hard to punish, if he is going to be solidified in this damage role, he should not feel completely indestructible. He should have to worry about positioning just like every other tank. Right now hog can basically walk into a backline and get a free kill before your team has anywhere near enough time to punish him. Either get rid of the 50% damage reduction or make him a 500hp hero. I still think his damage is pretty silly, but maybe this can balance around it, making him more of a glass cannon like zen.

You also can’t make a tank more consistent at getting elims and damage than the DPS. But here we are.

They aren’t balancing him as a tank clearly, they obviously want him as more of a DPS. So balance around that, instead of making him super tanky and super deadly.

I might be bias, but have your team shoot him, and if you’re ana you can anti or sleep. Then just focus him super hard. You guys asked for shields to not be as strong, the result was pretty obvious.

Can forum users just git gud and counter hog ffs.His steps are earthquakes.He had 50% damage reduction for 2-3 years now.Stop whining about every hero that becomes good.Instead of nerfing him buff his counters.They could have done the same with symm and doom but instead they nerfed them smh.And now both symm,doom and double shield tanks are fricking trash.

Tanks are not supposed to solely be protecting their team, their main goal is create space, which roadhog does now.

Roadhog is now more of a tank than he has ever been.

He punishes bad playing, and people dont like that reality.

No more shields to hide behind.

They’re apparently going to be balancing the main tanks around the idea of what Hog is. A bruiser. The idea of sitting and shielding for long periods of time is about to completely die in this game.

GOOD, that is what this game should have been from the get-go. Shields should have been a resource to allow you to push forward, not hide behind.

He does have a proper tanking ability. His threat and peel.

Removing his damage mitigation would mean he can never BE a threat and would encourage more flank hog then front lining.

I was thinking giving him something like 1-3-2 cloud on TaB for some Damage Resistance to allies and maybe some %ccResistance

His 132 build was a travesty and did not work well at all. No synergy and no direct purpose.

He is a threat based tank. Let him remain that way.

we can just ruin all tanks at once … just do it fast. so the game dies just quickly as it deserves.

dps hate shields, dps hate matrix, dps hate damage reduction … tanks can just be turned into AI aka bots and queue times would be fixed.
