Genuine question, what are the pros of 5V5?

  • It’s easier to balance?

  • Solo tanks are more fun to play?

  • It’d take less effort to fix 5V5 than go back to 6V6?

They also reworked EVERY CHARACTER EVER to have more health and bigger bullets, instead of just going back.

  • They can make more unique characters?

…no? What the Hell, why is this even a point? Tanks need to be generalists, they need to be self-sufficient. You’d never see Wrecking Ball be released as a solo Tank, same with D.Va, Roadhog, etc. Even the Roadhog-like Tanks, JQ and Mauga, have a team-centric ability? EVEN WRECKING BALL has a team-centric thing now.

  • It has better queue times?

No, queue times are still bad, and they’re getting worse. Just bite the bullet and go back, maybe if Tanks feel better to play as duos you’ll get more people back.

  • B-b-b-but Double-Shield was unfun to fight against!

That only existed in high ranks, because Blizzard abandoned the game for 3 years and left Orisa and Sigma over-buffed. Orisa doesn’t even have a shield anymore.

If 6V6 had 5V5’s dev speed, GOATS would’ve lasted a weekend.

Still using the same concept they did with 6v6. Not trying big things making the role better.

Alhonesty, it’s not. One Tank in reality can’t cover everything like in OW1. DPS and Supports don’t realize this.(DPS player by the way).
