Genji's deflect box is huge

Run it in 0.25 speed. You will even see the flashbang projectile instantly teleport from it’s current path up close to Genji when it deflects it. It’s like the game feels bad for him gives him free deflects.

Deflect is pretty big, admittedly, but Flashbang’s hitbox is FAR bigger. You could throw it farther than you did and still hit him easy.

if only this worked for me, most of the time when im against a mccree, i would still get flashed even if he throws it in my face smh

The flashbang literally hit the deflect hitbox and animation, there is nothing wrong clip.
The projectile changed its place because he has deflected it not because it “felt bad for Genji”.

flash bang is way larger than deflect. It’s more like the flash radius hits genji’s deflect

Fun fact: Genji’s deflect is a a "C’ shape on the front of his hitbox, but it is slightly forwards. This can result in him perfectly timing a reflect and still getting hit, but it also catches projectiles in front of him that seem out of his range.

its not

deflect now days cant even deflect moira orb sometimes, its just goes through you

and i rarely ever have a chance to deflect flashbang , 9 out of 10 it stunned me ignoring my deflect

I mean, it’s one of the longer CD’s in the game and he literally can’t do anything else when he’s Deflecting :woman_shrugging:

u aimed the flashbang basically right at genji. this is how the mechanic is supposed to work.

I’m guessing they’re referring to the flashbang disappearing then being sent back out from Genji’s crosshairs.
