I was always wondering, if he is fully cyborgy, robotic, and just his brain is preserved in a mechanical body?
Or he still has some biological parts. In his Blackwatch skin seems like his left arm is saved, but I was wondering what happened to the rest of him?
It looks like he might have his legs at least above the knees, and looks like he completely lost his right arm.
Did he undergo other surgeries to fully become a cyborg and get rid of all his biological parts, or are they hidden under his mechanics?

I believe it was confirmed that his head, torso, left arm and both legs above the knees are all still organic. In is classic appearance they’re probably just hidden under armor plating.

Based Blackwatch skin and the cut with blood in Hanamura, it’s quite possible that only his upper left is there alive under the armor. Hanzo definitely one slash one kill him clean like how a sushi chef do sashimi.
Hanzo before becoming a sniper, his swordsmanship was pretty well-known. I honestly wouldn’t bat eyelid if I know Hanzo can slice people like tofu with those.

That is within OUR time not theirs. They lived in the age where robots are so well made that they can FEEL emotions, where you can use LIGHT to make weapons and parts, etc. Why wouldn’t you think their medical technology is more advanced than ours also?
Not to mention the one who rescue him is the almighty Angela Ziegler. Her ressurection power is only in game, but in the lore she was the best of her peers, a genius doctor, basically super close to a miracles worker.

The Shimada clan had been on Overwatch’s radar for some time before Genji and Hanzo’s fight. From Genji’s bio:
The global security force saw Genji as a potential asset in its ongoing operations to combat the Shimada clan.
It was likely that Overwatch had some agents within the Shimada clan who spied for them and could call in a medical evac team when Genji was discovered. It wasn’t literally her who saved him, but Overwatch agents were able to get to him in time and bring him to her for medical aid.

He’s lost an arm and his legs below the knee, but a good portion of his torso remains (as well as, thanks to Chu confirming it - all the… ehem… important bits). His face got scarred up either by cuts or burns, but his eyebrows are intact at least. A lot of people figure some of his lower jaw was destroyed too.
But otherwise he’s a good ol’ fashioned cyborg. Half man, half machine. Y’know the drill.

Do you have the links, image of Micheal Chu’s confirmation? I have never heard anything about Gen g’s important part.

He is intact below the waist apparently. It seems to be largely damage to the face, neck, some of back, and right shoulder and arm. His arm and shoulder seem to either be missing or so severely damaged that they didn’t work properly (at least his arm is missing). Everything else is damaged to the point where it required cybernetics to stabilize it or protect it. At least that is what I think.

I wonder if Genji is technically naked. Aside from the mask he wears over his face and eyes…he’s not wearing any clothes if his Blackwatch Skin is something to be believed.

I seriously am curious to what is actually cover armor on him and what isn’t? Does have a mouth? Can he eat? Can he use the restroom? Is reproduction possible? I wish I knew more on his condition. i know it’s really bad and odds are is that he can’t do any of this stuff but I mean, who knows?
If the Blackwatch skin is to go by anything, then it would seem that Hanzo basically cut him in half starting from his right shoulder, down to his left armpit. So the only human parts of him are his left arm and head.
Or maybe he just hack and slashed and only fractions of different limbs were able to be saved.
I’d assume he’s like RoboCop, where only his important body parts are intact, and the rest is robotic
