Genji and other heroes make noise now even when crouching. This takes away the usage of crouching in general for most heroes and flanking is harder for heroes like genji and tracer when you can hear him even when he’s crouching.

Yeah not sure why but last patch they mentioned adjusting a bug that made “some heroes more silent than they should be when crouching”.

Shouldn’t you be able to hear him coming? He is not only powerful up close, but also has an easy time closing the distance and escaping.
no not if hes crouching, its slowing you down, thats enough of a hinderance. Stop nerfing things for low skill players. Learn to aim at these characters. You shouldnt hear him coming, hes a flipping ninja for gods sake.
Well let me ask, should reaper be silent on crouch because he’s a ghost and should Habzo be because he’s an archer/assassin/ninja? Should Widowmaker? Lore wise it makes sense to give them a silent approach option as well.
yes…obviously. The fact you can hear anyone crouched other than tanks, sucks, and should never of been introduced to the game. Silence at the cost of speed should be in the game, and if they can still hear you, what’s the point in ever crouching?

I think you’re blaming the wrong crowd. I don’t think i’ve ever seen anybody, low or high skilled complaining about crouch walking. this is something blizzard have decided to do themselves

The only complaints I’ve seen are about normal walking making no noise or too much noise, or Pharah making zero noise while flying sometimes 
Even thinking back to the old forums an OW1, I can’t remember anyone ever complaining about crouch walk being silent…
