There is some weeb in the game balance team thats for sure. Hanzo is busted and has no downsides, genji always been at least viable. its clear that they have their favorite heroes. Ana should be removed too.
genji requires plenty of skill. the problem is that mei and mccree simply dont have their CC to deal with him anymore, and the opposing team only gets 1 tank (which is where the biggest CC lies)
Without the stuns they need to tone down the kit… Remove dash reset or wall climb or double jump

Genji strong cause Lore. He is a badass cybernetic robo ninja.
He requires skill like every hero does.
His ult is just broken without stuns and no second tank he was to deal with when using blade.
Probably for the same reason Moira went live. The people who presented you this game haven’t played this game.

Not true, but once you master a Genji youre a god in OW2 with its no CC. Just try to play Genji in comp and you will see for yourself, his damage is super-low.
He needs his deflection nerfed. I guarantee you that he would be balanced then.
I hate genji but this is objectively untrue, he has a pretty high skillcap. For example his ult economy can determine the skill level of the genji your playing agianst

They just need to nerf his damage and tone down his deflect (i think its uptime is close to bastions turret mode right now?)
He can delete most heroes within 2 clicks + dash. U cant miss shots with him because his gameplay is to get as close to your enemy and spam right clicks in the center of your screen. His movement speed helps with hitting more shots aswell, its easier to hit shots when you move 1.5 times faster than your opponent.
Same way this substance-less post was allowed to be made.
He requires skill. It’s just that right now, having one less tank and significantly less CC, his reward-to-risk ratio is not…ideal.
Eh… A huge part of his skill set was learning how to play around obstacles. Now that those are gone, he is pretty easy now. I was horrible at dragonblade and even I can consistently wipe with it now.

Remember when Genji couldn’t cancel his deflect, and you could predict exactly when it would drop?
Those were the good ol days.
Now he can just dash in, deflect your one important ability for 0.005 seconds and instantly drop the deflect to right click you in the face. It sucks.

The only problem with genii is nano blade.
That’s the only issue.
Blade-fne
Reflect-fine.
Shuriken-fine
Double jump-fine
Dash+dash reset-totally fine
Nano blade-horrendous.
Blade is powerful, but you can really play around it, a bunch of ways.
Nano blade on the other hand is just flat out oppressive.
If there was more cc, less of a problem.
But with minimal cc your options are super limited.
Additionally the counterplay options often take longer to farm than nano blade. Transcendence for example.
With less shields genii seems to freely farm blade meanwhile supports are still vulnerable and have to avoid sight lines. I’m watching most genji’s get blade while zen is sitting 85-90% ult charge.
It’s really terrible feeling basically helpless against nano blade.
There isn’t a single other ult combo in the game that’s this oppressive. Even emp feels less oppressive than nano blade right now and that’s really saying something.
