I have been seeing this for a while now and it is the same player over and over and he has yet to be banned.
For those who are not aware, Macro is binding multiple actions to a single button and in more advanced macros even have inbuilt timers involved.
This particular user uses Genji macro to 1 shot 200 HP heroes non stop.
Please Bizzard step up your game and know that not all hacks are Aimbots.
Do gengus realy need macros for that? They still need to aim to oneshot people, dont they?
Pressing the Combo in order would not need any macro nor involve skill so im curios why you think it is a macro.
Not saying it is not possible. Just wondering.
It is a combination that even OWL Genji players can’t even use.
Essentially it is LMB - jump - dash down at feet - meele - turn around - lmb
That exact pattern in less than 1 second.
He does it repeatedly. Keep in mind it is not an action even Top 500 or OWL players do.
i think turning 180 degrees is not a macro, but a script instead. I think that blizzard is fine with macros but not with scripts.

Macro’s are scripts.
Macro is a set of commands in a specific order.
Which means Scripts are bannable as well. Anything not part of OW is bannable.
I always though the hardest part was Landing swiftstrike so you can rightclickmeele to death, but i never realy played gengu… Interesting to know… I only was oneshotkilled like 3 times in my whole time. But im more on the walls then in the ground. ;).
Arent there more people that report him if it is that obvious? From what i can tell, people are pretty triggerhappy with the report buttons.
Well. Atleast for widowmains i sometimes get the feeling that they are robots… I can only wish for strict mechanical AIM like that ;D. Same for some gengus… I will keep my eyes open though.
Unless you are a veteran gamer, most people are not aware of what a Macro is or how to identify them. They may get reported for something else - but not specifically a macro.
Even if I tell players that he is using a “macro” - since they don’t know what it is, they will either think I am being crazy or saying a random word.
That is because they only know what an “Aimbot” is - A macro has the potential to miss - since no Aimbot is involved. So they will confuse Macro with “Skill” more easily.
Well, it is hard to identify aimbot, macros and similar stuff… Except the super obvious.
If said gengji doesnt oneshot me every time, i would think that he is just very good at him.
Same with BS shots from snipers.
This character needs to be removed. Almost all genji players use macros. Skilless tryhards should be banned.
