I don’t play on it a lot, but I own Overwatch on the Switch as a secondary account. Holy crap, genji is even worse on consoles. Since consoles have more difficult aim, nobody can hit him. Making his dash combo nigh uncounterable. If you think we have it bad, woo boy is it bad over there. Basically have to instalock moira

Oh god imagine og torbjorn on switch I just got hives he was bad enough on PS4 and Xbox.
He’s not…the worst on console. What sucks is that there are definitely xim users who abuse him and xim users who abuse characters like ashe, taking advantage of the slight aim assist given to console on top of their m+kb setup. People have learned to hit him on the og lineup. Give yourselves like…a year to learn the mechanics and how to adjust aim on it.
Genji is crap to play on consoles so he is not as half the “problem” as he is on PC.
I imagine every character feels terrible with like 12fps.
Have you played on console or are you assuming? Having played on both, the only character that actually sees far more time on PC than console is Ana, and far more time on console than PC is Roadhog.
It also stands to reason that if its harder to hit on console, then being already hard to hit by having a variety of mobility means you survive longer in fights…thereby making him better than you’d think.

Genji is absolutely fine to play on a controller*, in fact he’s probably easier than soldier to get value out of.
*as long as you move jump to LB/L1 or similar.

Another piece of evidence that genku is in fact much easier than people think. It’s easy to get in and out. Even without hitting anything a genku spazzing about in the backlines is on itself already great value due to distraction.

My experience is that while strong Ashe is stronger simply because Mercy is more present and Mashe is stronger than Gency. He’s definitely a top pick though, the games where the enemy has them both with a Mercy and an Ana makes me groan hard.
I play on Playstation though.
Yet the Genji, who’s also playing on a controller. Is doing quick 180 turns, jumping over heads, hitting small projects onto peoples heads.
And you can’t hit him?
Also just some advice, play torb and put the turret in the back somewhere. You literally hard counter him
You must not play on console. I play on both PS4 and PC, and I’m letting you know that Genji’s shotgun shurikens and gigantic dash hitbox alone make him plenty simple to play on console. It’s not like he’s Ashe or Ana. And at higher levels of play where the less precise controls do not hinder players as much even those two are just as powerful.
Genji is as much a problem on console as on PC.
