the CC has been heavily toned down but he’s received absolutely zero changes to compensate, making him stronger than he ever was before paired with his new passive.
and don’t give me the usual “JuSt ShOoT hIm” nonsense. that can be applied to every single hero in the game.
he needs changing because I am not dealing with him ruining my fun for another 6 years.
This hero is broken to the core on ladder in ow2 but blizzard will keep him overtuned to sell skins.

Becomming a genji main on DPS.
I don’t think he’s overtuned. The other day players swapped to moira and brig to counter me and they did so successfully. So I played pharah. 
That’s the issue he makes you swap of skilled heroes like ana zen to less aim heroes in support role, which has always been the problem.
He is sort of like pharah he poops on heroes that he counters and gets pooped on by heroes that counter him. The issue in both cases is the skill matchup is pretty bad.
Atleast now you have kiriko she is a decent counter to genji and also a lot of sass to throw at the weeb once you elim him.
If the supports have constantly been done kiriko style this problem wouldnt be here.
The issue is we had badplaystyle supports like brig moira over the years that were counters to genji.
Genji ow2 still needs some nerfs i think 150hp nerf or some messing with kit.
Also genji is a groper on ana and zen, he invades their personal space like no other hero, i mean doomfist used to now he is reworked.
Heroes that invade personal space are universally hated, this is why launch brig was also hated.
Genji and moira will always be the elephant in room when it comes to competitive overwatch, blizzard has no idea how to balance this heroes and it’s hard to blame them since they don’t fit the core game design, Genji is capable of executing more than average low TTK eliminations in a medium to high TTK design (time to kill), and people have yet to understand how broken kitsune-blade is. Also there’s the money part that blizzard only care about if we’ll be honest. My recommendation to you is not to look for a competitive environment in overwatch, it is very likely there will never be any, try to play the game for fun and if you’re not having fun, play a different game more worthy of your time

Healers aint suppose to be able to counter a dps like that, a nother dps should.
Everything in this game is so fed up balanced-wise.
Still have to be good with Genji to get value and most people aren’t. If the concern is he presses Q and he gets to kill people, hes always been that way. People poke for a few mins, then press Q. If the genji is getting value on your team without them using Q, its just a good genji and its their timing and target selection that is making the difference. Not his synergy with the dps passive.
he seems pretty powerful, his shurikens are hitting people a lot more, almost as if they increased their size somehow, either I’ve found very good genji players (doubt) or something’s going on
Reduce his ammo to about 12 is what is needed. Stops him from pushing in and 2 rclicks and dash killing all the softies in one push.
Notice all the OW1 whining Genji mains have gone silent? That’s when you know Blizzard made a poor balance decision.
They haven’t. He’s still a throw pick to them LOL
I’m afraid you are wrong on that one, Genji is quite literally the DPS hero with the lowest skill floor in the entire roster, it’s much easier to get value with genji than with any other hero, and that’s why you constantly see a genji in your matches.
