You’ve actually done it blizz, you’ve made a character that completely and utterly shuts down genji with just about no counterplay.
I’m not really good at aiming nor have I tried so I just pick heroes who don’t have to aim like mercy, moira and briggite. But briggite cant be hurt by genji significantly, I just stun him and wack him and he’s dead in seconds and he cant do anything, at all.
genji can atleast shoot winstons head if he’s accurate enough
genji can poke mei at range or hope for headshots
genji can sneak up behind moira and bait out her shift to dash and get close
genji can just shoot a zarya when she’s not 100 energy
genji can predict where sombra might be and shoot before she can hack
genji can just shoot symmetra (at range or close)when shes not charged if his aim is decent
but he cant even shoot briggite, she just puts her shield up. all he can do is hope she gets low by something else and at her when she’s low which wont be very often at all. HE CANT SHOOT HER which is the counter play he has versus his other counters. Pretty cool right? AND his deflect is getting fixed! Man its a good time for all us who hate genji.

every change since the ulti charge increase by 25% has been been countering Genji ;s oh, And Brigittes swing radius actually feels quite smooth to be honest… that distance overall just seems better. That’s how Genji’s slashes don’t feel.

I’m starting to rack up quite a few hours on Brigitte, and while this by no means makes me an expert he has plenty of leeway with her, even with her being a counter.
There have been plenty of Genji that double jump and climb away to freedom throughout my matches.
You say you can’t “shoot” her. Have you tried shooting her from behind? The side? That tiny shield doesn’t cover 360 degrees. You are Genji, one of the most, if not the most mobile character in the game, adapt. Literally take three steps in any direction and throw those shuriken. And while you will counter with “She will turn :(“ chances are there are much bigger things she is focused on doing/protecting.

I mean every other hero who has a counter in the game can atleast damage their counter but genji cant even shoot her when she puts her shield up and he cant really break it when his shurikens do no damage. You just wait for your cooldowns and stun him again if you mess up some how.

Genji should exploit the pressure of his team to poke Brigitte from a flank so that she either gets it without reacting and has to hope for her team to help her or she tries to defend against it and your team has an opening because she isn’t supporting her team.

good genjis know what to do, but the issue I have is now every game has a junkrat to try and counter roadhog with a shield, so its just a spammy mess

He can D-jump and wall climb above a shield bash range. He has a better shot against her than the average Tracer.
But yes. She still has advantage. As a flanker counter.
SO as Genji, like everyone tells all the f-tier heroes, why don’t you switch.

He has way better mobility than Brigitty, that’s his counterplay. Brigitte is a counter he should avoid and/or attack from far range only.

I feel like all Genji forgot the concept of “poke damage.” Like girl sit on a damn roof and throw some shuriken. Every argument I see from Genji about Brigitte is “I can’t fight this melee character at melee range… My ranged ninja stars stopped working the second they picked this support… help…”

Could climbing/dashing away to safety and focusing your attention on the other enemy support while the other (hopefully ranged) dps on your team deals with Brigitte work? I mean you aren’t supposed to worry the enemy Brigitte as Genji, that’s by design. She’s supposed to roflstomp you into the ground if you stick around and engage her. So don’t do that, k?

well he cant do that every team fight can he? or pretty much whenever brig has more than half of her health.
the stun hitbox reaches the peak of his double jump hitbox
I mean lets say he pokes and gets dragonblade. Briggite either ults or just stuns him and stuns him again for 150 then he dead.

Honestly, Genji mains being super salty just make me want to main Brigitte. The amount of “nerf Brigitte” threads made by Tracer & Genji mains is pretty dang comical.

Mercy has no real counter play to Genji besides “rely on your team or switch” but you’re probably okay with that.
Work with with your team or switch to someone who isnt countered by her.

I mean the only range briggite has “trouble” with are pharah, junk and widow. and she can just hold her shield up until she’s indoors/behind cover with those on certain maps. Making it so they have to get close, I mean she also counters reaper with all her stuns who is supposed to be good in close range.

Sarcasm aside, if what you say is true (which it isn’t, Genji still can fight a Brigitte and easily win) so what? Swap off Genji when the enemy has a Brigitte. You Genji mains are so used to not having a counter that the concept of swapping to adjust to a threat is so alien to you. it’s kinda funny, honestly.
