I don’t understand what the devs love about Genji but his kit need a nerf.

Genji doesn’t need double jump and wall climb. He needs one or the other. It doesn’t make sense that a sniper healer, Ana, has no ability whatsoever to get to the high ground when a garbage hero like Genji does.

Please take care of this nonsense. It has gone on for too long.

So, aside from your obvious bias. Why exactly does Genji need a nerf? I play some of the heroes who have the hardest time against Genji and don’t think he needs a nerf

Now that the deflect hit box is a reasonable size, he is one of the heroes who doesn’t need any changes.

I have never understood why he has wall climb and double jump. That doesn’t make sense to me. I get he needs to be mobile, but that kind of mobility puts tracer to shame, and she is super mobile.

It sounds like someone got creamed by his right click lshift combo and is now venting on the forums because they can’t aim :frowning: poor guy, I’m sure they’ll listen to you.

Your Deflect idea was garbage, and clearly you haven’t learned from it.

He is ability based, so he needs to have good abilities and a good amount of them.

Genji’s balanced, leave him the hell alone.

People with your mentality are the reason Sombra sucks and Bastion isn’t at ALL good.

No, it really doesn’t.

At least Genji’s mobility is predictable. I suggest learning to aim; it does wonders against fighting a Genji.

Flankers like Genji and Tracer have more than enough counter play with recent hero additions. Leave them alone!

Genji is a flanker, like tracer, who trades the straight up damage potential of tracer for vertical mobility. Genji is in a pretty good state at the moment, some may even say underpowered, but that is moreso just due to the current meta rather than anything in genji’s kit.

Seriously, you main one of his counters in comp, you shouldn’t be complaining at all.

The post was triggered by a DM where he kept running up a wall and double jumping, but I have always hated that he had both abilities. This isn’t a problem in comp because I play D’va and Moria.

We’ll heres a logical explanation for ya, bucko.

A double jump alone would be a sucky passive.

Wall climb would just mean watered down hanzo.

Give him both, BOOM! A viable passive!

Than play Dva and Moira in DM if it’s the regular version. Guarantee you’ll kill genjis, and you’ll most likely piss them off for not picking one of the staple heroes in DM.

Then if he isn’t a problem, why complain.

Deathmatch is a for fun mode, Competitive is where they really take stats into account.

If Blizzard balanced around arcade this game would be in the dumps way faster than it’s dying.

*Uh Geoff, Genji is double jumping and climbing all over the place in deathmatch.

So? There are 7 brigittes in that mode currently

Your opinion doesnt matter against multiple millions, plus our pickrates and overall stats show Genji in a very balanced place in comp, so how about do something constructive and complain that Bastion is too weak or something*

Genii needs to be a mobile hero, because those shurikens aren’t exactly the most deadly weapons. If he didn’t have the mobility, he’d be pretty easy to kill. TOO easy

Yep, no matter which one he would keep, he would get shredded as those things do a max of 168, and a melee does 198 when combined with it.

By your logic I cannot have an opinion on the forums. That is pretty much the point of the forums.

Well you call him a problem in death-match, but in death-match balance really does not matter at all, and competitive is the determining factor of wether characters get tuned or not.

Plus you have had a recent streak of bad ideas, where MULTIPLE MULTIPLE forum members have disagreed with you countless times, so your ideas are obviously not good for Genji.

So leave Genji alone, he’s balanced.
