Why is it that when Genji is deflecting and his ult is ending it cancels the deflect?

Sheath animation. That fact is about as old as the game itself dude hah

Because he has sheathe the dragon blade.
Because in non-ult, Genji deflects with his Wakizashi, the same weapon he uses for melee attacks. But while ulting, Genji deflects with the dragon blade. When he sheathes it, he stops deflecting.
Because Blizzard hasn’t fixed it yet.

As a genji main I can say at times it is super annoying, so i believe it wont hurt the game if blizzard made it last until the deflect ends. But I have learned to work around it.
I’ve wanted Blizzard to fix this since season 3… I bet it only takes a few lines of code from the developers, but I am still waiting.
