I got excited when I got the Genji mythic skin, but when I used it while playing with my friend I told him to listen to the voice effects and he says that he listens Genji as always, no special effects when genji speaks, and same with the dva EDM skin…
So, I paid for cosmetics that I am the only one who can hear those effects? this is absolute bs man…
Every day I’m just more and more disappointed of this development team

This has been a thing since OW1 so teammates and enemies don’t get confused from the different sound effects. That being said there should be a toggle for it IMO cause it’s only a disadvantage.
I think it’s good to avoid confusion but it would be cool to have it as a setting to hear skin specific sound effects from other players. That being said, can we FINALLY get Reyes to speak instead of Reaper when using Blackwatch Reyes or Soldier 24 skin on Reaper, even if it’s just in first person?
