Genij is Overpowered will blizzard ever change that?

As on many topic people are talking about genij beeing very overpowered.
i myself think so too. he can get away very easy. if he uses deflect or what it is called. he shouldn’t be able to move forward my opinion. cause now it is possible for him to get close and kill you. while it should be a way for him not too get killed.
his slash is just horrible goes right through brigittes shield while you dash him.
his double jump very nice for him but a real pain in the b*tt.

overall people on the forum are complaining about genij beeing overpowered.
so why hasn’t blizzard changed him yet?

i tried genij myself i don’t like him i think he looks stupid but i got potg and didn’t use the ult. so yes i believe he is truly overpowered, and i truly believe he needs to be nerfed or just let him die lorewise, and remove him hahaha

You often have to to consider the mains of the people who complain about him. More often than not, it’s someone he counters. And statistically, he’s pretty fine. He’s really not overpowered, the only thing that can reasonably be considered too strong is Nanoblade.

no i still think he is overpowered, if one hero can kill a whole team that easy it’s called overpowered, and not with using his ult. but with his mobility and deflect

I knew I liked your posts for a reason. Lol. You make a ton of sense. When you really analyze Genji, he really is just average at best. And it takes multiple ultimates being used simultaneously for him to get viewed upon as a few people do. But then again, can that not be said for anyone? Especially when things like Zarya’s ultimate is added to the equation?

Side note, if anything…? Genji needs a buff, and not a nerf. What are my basis for this claim? Just look at the various heroes and things that have been going on for months now. GOATs for starters.

To say that he can wipe a team with deflect is ridiculous- unless he deflects a Graviton, there should be no chance of that happening. I think the easy solution there is to launch Graviton at a wall or a corner, rather than the enemies. This allows you to prevent you’re ultimate from being deflected or eaten. Remember- deflect is only as good as your enemies allow it to be.

I’d love to see his projectiles slightly faster, but people would probably buff Fan the Hammer before but they let that go down. I’m just a trash “Genji main”, so I’d take a buff any day :joy:

I think Genji is in a very good spot. I’d prefer we buff other DPS, like Junkrat or Soldier.
