currently there are only 3 characters that can do anything close to Ruining the game
those three are
- Widow Maker
- Tracer
- Pharah

Try playing Sombra, Moira, and Brigette when she comes out.

i find it almost impossible to beat a gengi in 1v1 or 6v6 situations his tool set is just too powerful.

All you need to do is make Genji’s health go to zero while keeping your health at a value above zero.
If you can’t do that, then just play him and you should be equal.

I was going type up this entire essay about how Genji is so easy to kill, but then I looked at your career profile and realized that your 3 most played characters are countered by Genji. Arguably not McCree though. McCree is like an even 50/50 against Genji if you’re actually smart. I’m going to put it into simple terms on how to win against Genji as McCree aside from having decent aim. Don’t be impulsive.

Brigitte is a support that’s meant to peel for her team.
Moira is a support that excels at healing than killing for very obvious reasons.
Doomfist is a bugged mess.
nah she is a support tank hybrid with alot of crowd control and her main function is forcing genji to switch to pharah.
Her damage orb is stronger than alot of other DPS abilities Offense heroes have don’t joke around please. pretty much no one else has a free 200 damage button without aim.
and about doomfist he is bugy but he can do alot of work still. watch some good doomfist gameplay and how they delete 2 heroes in 2 secs.

You can’t even think hard enough that Brigitte is supposed to peel the enemy from her team and not play cat and mouse with Genji.
He has the power of anime and god on his side.

After Moira, Sombra buff and now maybe Brigitte I don’t see how Genji is a problem, he has a lot of counters now besides Winston and sometimes Symmetra. If he is being annoying just get good at hacking or holding a button with Moira and he won’t be a problem. At least he will run away.

I don’t think he ruins the game, but I am annoyed by how much effect he can have on a fight be simply pressing his deflect key.

Edited : nevermind I found it. Turns out I always press the “open a new tap button” rather than a normal left click, and that won’t show the option for profile.

Genji isn’t NEARLY as meta as he used to be. He has plenty of counters like every other hero in the game, his primary weakness??? People with good aim.

Isn’t gengi really hard to execute?
I think you need the power of a lot of people for it. I mean convincing a buch people to put their arm up at the same time. That’s surely impossible.
