So it’s “pretty accurate” for mid range data….not so much for high rank
Which is great because mid range is what people always look at
At least people interpret the stats properly….

Thanks for bringing this to light. Yeah, I was having a hard time squaring “Overbuff is accurate” with blatant discrepancies I was noticing.
I really wish they would just provide stats. Perfection is the enemy here. I’d be ok with some people misunderstanding them so I could see them.
I’m mocking the whole thing because the bigger issue was the last thing I mentioned anyway…
But hey, people can officially say mid range OB is accurate (and he actually used the word unlike Josh)…so there you have it…for the ranks that OW is not balanced around…it is accurate data…balance debate for mid ranks is officially on!
Holy hell mei is bad!!! (In plat)
Which is expected tbh. It’s always frustrating when someone says X hero has above 50% winrate in gm. And then I have to explain to them that you need more than 50% to maintain that rank to begin with. But they make the understandable assumption that 50% is the average winrate there.
GM is also a very tiny sample of the player base. Anything that makes the data less accurate, like private profiles, will probably have a more dramatic effect for the smaller population.
